Design Assistant

As a design assistant you will provide support to the senior designer, by working together to ensure that all job components are completed on time and with excellence. This includes creating and revising designs in 20-20, producing renderings for customer approval, pricing cabinet designs accurately and efficiently, reading and interpreting blue prints, ordering product from various suppliers, organizing and compiling installation instructions from a design, following a job from design through to a complete installation, follow up with any outstanding service work after installation, co-ordinate schedules for installation, provide occasional sales support by meeting with customers in the showroom, and doing on site measurements and mark outs as required, as well as any additional administrative duties that may be required.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office, including Adobe Acrobat Pro and Outlook
- Attention to detail, strong organization, and office administration skills
- An ability to multi-task, be flexible, and work well within a busy office environment
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- A minimum of 1 year of design or sales support experience
- Administrative experience: minimum 2 years
- Drivers license

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
