Quik's Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and an additional 20 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space. Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.

We are currently hiring a **Floral Design & Fresh Inventory Assistant. **This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week position that includes benefits and competitive wages.

This position reports to the Design and Fresh Product Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work well independently _and _as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid time-management and organizational skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- A creative interest and talent in floral design.
- Experience working in horticulture or floriculture industries is an asset.
- Proficient in computer skills and use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to utilize mathematics and accounting skills at a grade 12 or post-secondary level.
- Completion of high school and/or applicable post-secondary education.
- Please be advised that this hands-on position requires prolonged periods of standing.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Assist in creating floral designs for mass reproduction, using available cooler inventory.
- Allocate inbound fresh product under direction from various departments.
- Maintain rapidly revolving inventory in a highly organized and effective manner.
- Label products using a “First In, First Out” system.
- Inspect inbound fresh product for quality control compliance.
- Communicate all product quality concerns to purchasing team.
- Provide supervision for assigned _Production_ teams.
- Assist in supervision of _Cooler_ team, providing direction for allocation of production orders.
- Assist in creating production orders from inbound sales orders.

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
