**Role Summary**

As Research Associate, Stem Cell and Developmental Immunology at Notch Therapeutics, you will be part of a diverse team focused on advancing iPSC-derived immune cell therapeutics discovery efforts. You will provide technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in T cell biology, molecular and cellular immunology techniques, and developmental immunology, including the culture and characterization of primary and iPSC differentiated immune cells. You will be responsible for planning, execution and reporting of internal and partner-facing projects.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support the development and optimization of stage-specific protocols for T cell differentiation from iPSCs expressing engineered T cell receptors (TCRs) or chimeric antigen receptors (CARs)
- Establish and conduct in vitro functional assays for functional assessment of iPSC derived CD8 T-cells in allogeneic clearance assays.
- Align cell culture approaches with scale-up and manufacturing teams to support the development of therapies focused on engineered iPSC-derived T cells.
- Deliver reports, summaries, and presentations supporting experimental results.
- Contribute to daily lab organization, including ordering, monitoring, and organizing inventory, equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Assist in writing and revising technical documents including lab protocols, equipment protocols and reports.
- Support efforts to establish and maintain policies and procedures related to lab operations and biosafety.
- Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks for proper documentation of all research activities.

**Required Qualifications**:

- BSc or MSc in cell biology, molecular biology, cancer immunology and developmental immunology.
- 1-4 years in academic research or discovery biotech/industry (preferred) position.
- Extensive experience in cell-based functional assays, mammalian cell culture, including specialized expertise in isolation, culture, characterization, expansion, and cryopreservation of T/NK cells.
- Hands-on experience in hematopoietic and/or iPSC to T cell and/or other immune cell differentiation.
- Hands-on experience in flow cytometry or incucyte based cytotoxicity assays, multiplexed cytokine/chemokine measurements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
