Job Requirements

This role is responsible for organizing data related to our Independent Contractor sales force. Utilizes technical expertise to ensure that the data is accurate. It is then analyzed, designed, and presented in a way that assists in decision making. Create automation with VBA skills, building macros to increase Licensing tasks efficiencies. Ensuring compliance with all Regulatory Licensing issues; agents are licensed in accordance with Company policy, agent’s benefits and fees are maintained on all systems. Ensuring prompt and accurate responses to our Field Force or internal departments on Licensing matters, and to Provincial Regulators regarding all regulatory concerns or issues. Reviewing and inputting on system all approved benefits rate changes and corporate table updates. Overseeing the administration and maintenance of the Agent Benefit Plan deductions and data records, including termination notifications and tracking. Administration, communication, and reporting of all function pertaining to agents on leave of absence. Acting as a lead liaison between the field sales force and the benefit’s carrier for all inquiries and/or requests pertaining to benefits, leaves, and deductions.

**Primary Duties**:

- Develop and maintain databases - reorganize data in a readable format.
- Create automated tools to extra data from primary and secondary sources
- Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems
- Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot existing macros (visual basis)
- Write ad hoc and regular macros driven reports
- Setup TSO (Easytreive) files and/or excel automation to extract data to produce reports.
- Participate in special projects and attend meetings for same. Testing of new Licensing systems or system enhancements
- Responsible for ensuring agents’ benefit deductions comply with Carrier requirements and appropriate deductions are set up on our system.
- Enter & Track LOA agents’ status, Waiver of premium, Age 65 & 70 plus.
- Set billing and collections of semi-annual payments for agents on Leave
- Process journals for collection of renewal payments on a semi-annual basis and new LOA premium payments
- Respond to inquiries regarding system data or processing issues.
- Trouble shooting, reviewing, investigating, and dealing with internal and external enquiries, acting as liaison between field offices, head office and agent service carriers, daily and annually for service carrier renewals.
- Prepare/update Model Audit documentations for the company (process narratives, testing folders, etc). Perform Model Audit testing according to the control matrix time schedule, and ACE SOX 404 Manual.
- Interact with various staff and departments to obtain necessary information to complete the testing.
- Analyse and assess control effectiveness.
- Perform Quality Audits in area and provide recommendations and improvements on controls and tasks. Ensure any issues are identified, documented, and resolved.

Work Experience
- University degree with 2 - 5 Years Work Experience
- Knowledge of French an Asset
- Proficient Microsoft office, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive
- Advanced in Microsoft Visual Basic & Power BI
- Background in Easytreive programming an asset
- Programming knowledge to implement and maintain Macros
- Must possess Interpersonal, Analytical and Training Skills
- Excellent systematic and logical approach to problem-solving
- Self-motivated to work independently while working collaboratively and effectively within a team environment
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability for critical thinking and accuracy
- Strong written, verbal & interpersonal skills
