Project Coordinator

Roles/Responsibilities:

- Assist the Project Management Team with oversight of construction projects
- Develop and maintain excellent relationship with trade partners
- Assist in overall co-ordination and planning of various projects; create comprehensive schedule and administer sub-contractors and contract documents
- Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and site instructions
- Assists with the preparation of regular progress reports
- Maintain safety records and perform basic safety documentation audits
- Organize and arrange project start-up documentation including Ministry of Labour forms, bonding, insurance, utility locates and site binders
- Ensure that the Site Superintendents are supplied with all up to date drawings, schedules, and specifications
- Monitor on-site work to ensure compliance with contract scope of work, company standards, specifications, and codes
- Attend all regular project review meetings
- Assist with ordering construction materials
- Prepare and maintain site logs and records

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- **Qualifications**_
- Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Graduated from construction engineering technician/technologist or equivalent program
- Scheduling, estimating, supervising, organization, communication (written and verbal)
- Must be ambitious, outgoing and willing to work overtime (including weekends) based on business needs

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Fonctions / Responsabilités:

- Aider l'équipe de gestion de projet dans la surveillance des projets de construction
- Développer et maintenir d'excellentes relations avec les partenaires commerciaux
- Aider à la coordination et à la planification globales de divers projets; créer un calendrier complet et administrer les sous-traitants et les documents de contrat
- Préparer des sous-contrats, des bons de commande, des ordres de modification et des instructions de site
- Aider à la préparation de rapports réguliers sur l'avancement
- Maintenir les dossiers de sécurité et effectuer des audits de base de la documentation de sécurité
- Aider à la planification de réunions, communications, lettres, transmissions, coursiers, correspondance électronique, etc.
- Organiser et préparer la documentation de démarrage du projet, y compris les formulaires du ministère du Travail, les obligations, l'assurance, les localisations de services publics et les classeurs de site
- S'assurer que les surintendants de chantier disposent de tous les dessins, calendriers et spécifications à jour
- Surveiller les travaux sur place pour garantir la conformité avec la portée des travaux du contrat, les normes de l'entreprise, les spécifications et les codes
- Assister à toutes les réunions régulières d'examen de projet
- Aider à la commande de matériaux de construction
- Préparer et tenir à jour les journaux et les dossiers de site

Éducation, compétences et qualifications requises

**Qualifications**:

- Posséder un permis de conduire valide et un véhicule
- Diplôme en technologie ou technique de génie de la construction ou programme équivalent
- Planification, estimation, supervision, organisation, communication (écrite et verbale)
- Doit être ambitieux, extraverti et disposé à travailler des heures supplémentaires (y compris les week-ends) en fonction des besoins de l'entreprise.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
