Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant, Talent Acquisition is an integral part of a busy and dynamic Human Resources Department. The successful applicant will support the Talent Acquisition team with the full-cycle recruitment process.
The successful applicant will be expected to exercise sound judgment, excellent communication skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work individually and as part of the team managing the day-to-day related HR activities.
Working collaboratively with the larger Human Resources Team and Southlake Management in helping promote Southlake Regional Health as an employer of choice.

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a Human Resources Management Post-Secondary Program from an accredited educational institution or equivalent recent and related training and experience may also be considered.
- A minimum of two (2) years of recent and related experience preferably working within a large and complex healthcare environment. Preference will be given to those with Talent Acquisition experience
- Advanced technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- CHRP Designation an asset
- HRIS experience (Meditech) an asset
- Experience working in a unionized environment preferred
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation (Employment Standards Act etc.) is considered an asset

Primary Responsibilities

- Broadcast/post vacant job opportunities for Southlake
- Research, source and post on job boards, social media websites and education institutions
- Prescreen resumes and coordinate the administrative support for the selection process
- Collect and maintain recruitment data and statistics as required
- Assist with the reference check process
- Prepare and update assessment materials - i.e. interviews guides, templates
- Coordinate and help facilitate career fairs and conferences
