**Bilingual**National Key Account Manager
- Canada East**

Reporting to the Director of Sales - Industry, the National Key Account Manager’s mission is to develop sales and profitability targets and create a strong long-term partnership with the assigned accounts. They will plan and lead sales activities in the market, considering the company’s strategy and local market requirements. In close collaboration with Marketing, Group R&D and Business Units, he/she will help develop the position of Puratos Canada as the reliable partner in innovation in the bakery, patisserie, and chocolate market, enabling the company to outpace the market and achieved its growth targets.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**Customer Management**
- Maximize the sales and profit growth potential by developing and implementing effective and creative sales strategies and plans.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with customers in a consultative way.
- Communicate and monitor progress for execution of key account strategies.
- Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects using CRM.
- Understand the customers’ manufacturing operation systems & processes.
- Work with product development and marketing staff to develop new products and concepts.
**Sales Planning & Technical Support**
- Set up account plan and forecast
- Execute business reviews (internal and external) as planned
- Present & implement innovations and tailor-made solutions, based on market trends and/or specific customer demands
- Ensure proactive support and troubleshoot customer issues.
- Ensure proper execution and tracking of the assigned accounts.
- Control discretionary expenses to meet company profit guidelines and manage pricing at customer level.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- University degree in commerce or food science.
- Minimum 8 years of proven successful sales track record.
- Experience in the food industry (baking, ingredients), B2B an asset
- Strong knowledge of the retail and food service markets.
- Fluency in French and English is a pre-requisite
- Excellent sales skills: negotiations, presentation skills, budgeting, marketing techniques, pricing strategy, etc.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer relationship management.
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Proficient in MS Office, project management.
- Excellent communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills.
