Technical Sales Representative

We are currently recruiting a **Technical Sales Representative** to take charge of Business Development in the North Central Alberta & Saskatchewan market area.
**Responsibilities & Duties**

- Maintain Customer service-based approach to business success.
- Ability to interpret drawings, manuals and follow detailed contract procurement procedures.
- Strong personal planning & organizational skills are necessary. Ability to work well under pressure and with demanding schedules. Energized by challenges.
- A background of industry knowledge on a wide variety of rotating equipment configurations with PD blower experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to handle project management and multiple sales inquiries on a daily basis while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory. Valid driver’s license and a recent abstract will be required
**Reporting and Monitoring**
- Monitoring operations in their area to ensure that client needs are being appropriately met and that all corporate policies and procedures are being adhered to
- Budget forecasting and tracking key account metrics (e.g., monthly/quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Managing account information and opportunities through our CRM database
- Log, compile, prepare and present Client (RFP/RFQ) proposals and quotations
- Reporting to the Sales Manager, develop a sales plan and execute action items to maintain forecasted financial projections and milestones.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and employees.
- Interpersonal skills and exhibits strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to “self-manage”, showing dependability, initiative, innovation, professionalism, and organizational clarity.
- Microsoft office management software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $30,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
