**What You Will Do**
Our Compliance Officers are crucial to our business. They ensure that our brokerage maintains the highest compliance standards while working closely with our agent and broker team to support their success. This role is more than just reviewing files—it's about fostering a collaborative environment where compliance and business goals align. If you’re passionate about helping a team excel while ensuring regulatory adherence, this role is for you
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform detailed audits of mortgage files to ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal policies
- Collaborate with agents and brokers to provide support and guidance on compliance-related matters
- Advise on best practices to enhance compliance and streamline the mortgage process
- Maintain accurate records of compliance reviews and recommend improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations to proactively address compliance needs
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Mortgage Broker industry, with a focus on compliance
- Working knowledge of mortgage software like Filogix Expert, Finmo, and Zoho is essential
- Previous experience in file auditing or compliance roles is a strong asset
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a passion for maintaining high standards
