**Reports to**:_Director of Marketing_
**Job purpose**
To help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels by overseeing the development and implementation of various marketing strategies, specifically campaigns.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Lead the creation of marketing campaign concepts as well as the planning of campaigns and promotional initiatives to drive sales and customer growth, ensuring they are aligned to key business initiatives.
- Develop or provide key input into the annual marketing calendar.
- Continue to champion the new rebrand elements across all marketing touch-points to build brand awareness and ensure a consistent brand voice and clear messaging to new and loyal guests.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure our brand is reflected accurately, professionally and consistently and ensure all products, services and offerings conform to our brand identity.
- Provide meaningful and timely briefs and feedback to assist with growth and development to vendors and the team, removing barriers of success.
- Collaborate and communicate with all Marketing team members to ensure a clear and cohesive understanding of Marketing initiatives, sharing relevant detail as it affects our team and the larger business.
- Participate in strategic planning and annual budgeting exercises and responsibly work within the assigned annual marketing budget.
- Appropriately collaborate with Operations team regarding marketing campaign and promotions, and provide support to Business Consultants, Franchise Partners and Pizzeria Managers, in an effort to ensure the strongest success possible of campaign and promotional initiatives.
- Assemble and analyze sales forecasts that help support Marketing ideas as presented to the Leadership Team, Topper’s Advisory Council and Franchise Partners.
- Prepare marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; plan and organize promotional presentations including campaign webinars and playbooks, conference content and company training newsletters.
- Track and analyze the performance of advertisements, campaign promotions, and other offerings, providing recommendations for improvements moving forward.
- Initiate competitive research to gather and analyze market data which reflects current states, trends, opportunities and challenges and implement adjustments to advertising, promotions and campaigns, based on the research.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with business partners, key stakeholders, vendors, etc.
- Support Franchise Development in their marketing requests.
- Oversee the Nutrition Labelling Regulations program.
- Ensure we remain compliant with legislated policies such as; CASL, AODA, copyrighting, etc.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, sales or related field and advanced computer skills.
- Minimum 5 years of Marketing and management experience.
- Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand-building, brand management, campaigns and/or customer promotions.
- Ability to stay abreast of the latest marketing trends and best practices, express findings and consider how and if we could best incorporate into our business.
- Highly effective at project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, people and time management skills.
- Strong leadership skills, coupled with the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong proofreading and editing abilities.
- A creative thinker who can offer new ideas and challenge status quo, as appropriate.
- Exceptional customer focus with strong professional acumen.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and abilities.
- Strategic decision-making skills.
- Able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Performance Measurements**
- Plan for campaigns and promotional initiatives in a timely manner, allowing for other individuals and departments to incorporate their components in good timing.
- Deliver all assigned Marketing initiatives within the allotted budget.
- Meet or exceed marketing campaign targets.
- Develop and manage of annual marketing campaign calendar.
- Uphold our mission and vision and behave in a manner that is aligned to our core values.
- Accountable for their portion of the marketing team’s performance
**Working conditions**
This is a full-time position.
Currently required to be in-office at the Barrie Support Centre 2 days per week, with the understanding that this could increase to more days at some point in the future.
Occasionally, you may be required to participate in events outside of the regular working hours to support launches, special events, pizzeria visits, etc., which would involve the need to travel to various locations.
