**The Position**

As a LogiSense Cloud Systems Administrator you'll do more than build and deploy infrastructure - you'll become an expert in understanding the LogiSense platform and how our clients interface with our systems. You will have opportunities to change and influence how we develop and deploy our infrastructure, as well as direct control over how our cloud environments are governed and maintained. You will contribute directly to the growing capabilities of our industry-leading billing platform.

**Be Good At**:

- Implementing: Your knowledge of both logical and physical web architecture best practices; Your experience troubleshooting networking environments as they relate to infrastructure; Your experience managing Linux servers
- Assisting members of the systems administration team as well as external teams
- Developing and document our cloud infrastructure and new technical solutions
- Displaying your experience working with infrastructure monitoring platforms
- Demonstrating your working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Microsoft SQL Server
- Investigating and troubleshooting day-to-day performance issues
- Assessing and analyzing our cloud environments and make recommendations for automation improvements, efficiency improvements, or cost savings opportunities
- Performing cost quoting exercises for new initiatives
- Being familiar with PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Being responsible for deliverables which may occur outside standard business hours
- Maintaining security by ensuring compliance to corporate standards, policies, and procedures
- Having familiarity with PCI and SOC compliance requirements
- Participating in the on-call rotation with other members of the systems administration team
- Participating in our incident response process
- Participating in system audits as needed
- Demonstrating your passion for technology and unwavering willingness to learn using your laser sharp attention to detail
- Displaying your ability to be highly motivated, a self starter, and having a driven personality with proven task management, written and verbal communication skills
- Bonus points for:

- AWS certification or other industry relevant certifications
- Experience with New Relic APM, New Relic Infrastructure, Sumo Logic, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Rundeck, Ansible, Jenkins
- Knowledge or understanding of containers (e.g. Docker; Kubernetes; Amazon ECS/EKS) and related concepts
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ or other message brokers
- Familiarity with Kanban framework/practices
