Survalent is establishing the foundation for utilities to transition to a more renewable centric, smart, and resilient grid. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about sales and clean technology and are looking to jump start their career in a rapidly growing and evolving industry. Survalent is the highest ranked ADMS vendor according to Gartner and we pride our passion in pursuing excellence in everything we do. With this rapidly evolving environment in the utility space, we are looking for individuals who can research markets and customers to identify how Survalent can solve those prospective customer’s problems. The Account Development Role is the spearhead for Survalent’s out bounding strategy. Working alongside our sales team, the Account Development Representatives sets Survalent’s go to market strategy while also getting mentorship with our different sales executives.
Within the role, you will have an intensive sales training program to sharpen and develop your skills in the enterprise software world. Our goal is to develop the next generation software sales leaders and we are looking for A players who are not afraid of failure and are looking to get 1% better every day. As you master these skills, we are also looking to progress your career into different areas of the company including sales, marketing, services, management, and product management. **What you will be doing?**
- Set introductory meetings and generate qualified leads.
- Research and prepare introductory calls/execute Survalent sales strategy.
- Attend industry-specific conferences.
- Update Salesforce with details of all communications with customers.
- Follow up on inbound leads.
- Participate in strategy discussions with sales team and other cross functional groups.
**What we are looking for?**
- University Degree with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- 1-4 years of experience working in customer facing roles, preferably in sales.
- Must be passionate about sales and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Must be Proactive & willing to adapt and learn new skills and technologies.
