National Account Manager

This position will be based out of our Vancouver location, reporting to the National Business Development Director.
**As a National Account Manager, you will focus on the following**:
- Building Relationships with Clients:
- Generate leads for new business through various methods of communications.
- Identify potential new clients and develop relationship with key decision makers.
- Frequent communication with new and existing customers to ensure full quality and satisfaction.
- Plan and attend client meetings in a variety of locations based on interests of the client.
- Ability to conduct presentations or demonstrations remotely.
- Attend association, industry, and networking events.
- Building relationships within Flynn:
- Work closely with local Service departments as well as the national business development management and team and ensure they are informed of business activity and issues.
- Extensive travel within Atlantic Canada to meet with branches and/or clients.
- Work with Local and National team to promote Flynn’s brand and services through marketing and social media channels.
- Skills/Qualifications of the Account Manager include:
- Related previous sales experience required.
- Knowledge of the construction industry preferred.
- Post-secondary education considered an asset.
- Ability to establish and build strong relationships.
- Well-developed sales/presentation skills in power point.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to be self-directed.
- Excellent organizational/time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Able to work in a fast paced and sales driven environment.
- Willingness to learn entire scope of business including product knowledge, building envelope design, service, and budgeting to offer full-service packages to current and potential clients.
