**Salary**: The salary range for this position is CAD $38.12/Hr. - CAD $54.80/Hr. Summary:
**What You Will Do**

Within the context of a client and family centred model of care and, in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of Providence Health Care, the person promotes a safe, respectful, and civil working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff.

The Talent Recruitment Advisor:

- Provides expert advice and guidance to ensure talent acquisition of both unionized and non-unionized roles at Providence Health Care.
- Works within a specified portfolio to support hiring leaders with full cycle recruitment including: sourcing, advertising, posting, intakes, prescreening, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks and employment offers.
- Develops and implements recruitment strategies.
- Works on various recruitment-related programs, campaigns and special projects such as provincial and national career fairs and campus recruitment initiatives.

The Advisor will ensure Equity, Diversity and Inclusion best practice is applied to the strategies and selection processes for all hiring initiatives.

Post Secondary Education and/or Training in Human Resources or Recruitment.

Comprehensive knowledge of best practices as these relate to recruitment processes in the health care industry.

Strong customer focus and the ability to work with individuals at all levels.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

**Your Day to Day**:
Supports a variety of business units, working with leaders and managers to identify their short
- and long-term recruitment needs and develop external recruitment strategies.

Works with leaders and managers on external recruitment initiatives and advises on best practices. Staying current on best practices and emerging trends in job market.

Leads or participates in all stages of external recruitment including sourcing, advertising, posting, intakes, prescreening, short-listing, telephone prescreens, interviews, reference checks, and employment offers.

Researches and drafts job advertisements,working with Communications and Marketing specialists to ensure ads are appropriately designed for targeted markets.

Develops interview questions for all level of positions.

Provides advice to international applicants regarding concerns such as work permits, the Provincial Nominee Program, licensing requirements and relocation matters;

Liaises with external agencies such as CRNBC, Health Match BC, and Citizenship & Immigration Canada; responding to inquiries from outside sources such as applicants, agencies, schools and other various organizations; and working collaboratively with the Recruitment team to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Works closely with Lead, EDI, develops inclusive hiring practices and offers solutions to hiring managers to mitigate potential bias in the hiring process

Determines appropriate salary placements for new hires, based on guidelines and collective agreements, to ensure equitable salary analysis and adherence to salary guidelines.
