About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Advisor to support our full-cycle recruitment efforts across diverse domains, including engineering, geoscience, finance, and technology. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates, managing the hiring process, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and HR business partners, providing guidance on recruitment strategies and best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment plans, leveraging various sourcing channels and recruitment technologies.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to enhance current processes and improve candidate and client experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with Canadian employment legislation and Teck policies.
  • Stay up-to-date on recruitment market insights and trends, applying this knowledge to optimize recruitment strategies.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability in a recruitment role, ideally within an industrial or mining environment.
  • Proficiency with headhunting and sourcing, including Boolean and X-ray searches.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, sourcing and screening tools, and recruitment technologies.
  • Experience recruiting Mining/Geological, Engineering, and/or Finance professionals is required.
  • Experience recruiting Technology professionals is an asset.

As a Teck employee, you will have access to our hybrid workforce model, with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote based out of our head office in scenic downtown Vancouver. We offer a competitive salary range of $82,000 - $101,000, determined based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.
