Hamilton, Canada Ontario Bariatric Network Full time

This position, reports to the Ontario Bariatric Network (OBN) through its Chair and Clinical Lead. The Education Coordinator will work to develop curriculum for the ECHO Bariatric Program. This individual should have an online educational background, and will work with the support of the administrative assistant and with the hub consultants, to ensure effective curriculum development. They will coordinate didactic sessions, help obtain accreditation through CPD offices for CME credits. This individual will help develop a rubric to evaluate member participation and performance, competence and perception. The Education Coordinator will also advertise the ECHO model, and will coordinate the process of recruiting appropriate spokes, setting project and strategic plan in alignment with the ECHO model, overseeing project staff, overseeing evaluation and research, drafting and writing reports, liaising and reporting to Ministry. Additionally, they will draft any required contracts or memorandums of understanding required throughout the demonstration project.

**Responsibilities**

1. Develop curriculum for the ECHO Bariatric Program

2. Develop a rubric to evaluate member participation and performance, competence and perception

3. Coordinate the process of recruiting appropriate spokes

4. Ensure project and strategic plan align with the ECHO mode

5. Oversee project staff

6. Writing reports, contracts and memorandums of understanding

7. Liaising and reporting to the Ministry

8. Plans and schedules meetings and leads follow up as required

9. Delivers excellent tactical and critical strategic thinking

10. Builds relationships and develops effective networks and maintains strong relationships within the healthcare community, the government and OBN management

11. Ensure adequate timely and effective unfolding of ECHO educational plan for clinical programs

12. Performs cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification, as assigned or requested;
**Qualifications**
- Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills
- A proven track record of strategic planning
- Minimum 3-5 years professional experience in online education field
- Some knowledge of bariatric-related processes is an asset;
- Significant experience in planning and project management
- Extensive experience with relationship development,
- Creative problem solver with the ability to think strategically;
- Functions at a high level of autonomy in setting objectives, managing expectations and tracking; budget, resource allocation and performance
- Energy, enthusiasm and an ability to accomplish goals and change as it relates to best practices and the strategic direction of the organization;
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
