The Health Sector Workforce and Beneficiary Services (HSWBS) Division at the Ministry of Health is responsible for operational delivery of beneficiary services and workforce strategies that contribute to effectively meeting patient and population health needs and improving patient outcomes through the efficient delivery of health services.

The Physician Services Branch has an opportunity for a Rural Compensation Analyst to join our team. The Physician Services Branch is responsible for a broad portfolio of provincial health human resources for physician negotiations, partnerships, recruitment, training, education, and collaborative programs.

This role will provide a variety of office administrative, secretarial and financial support services for the branch and coordinate the day-to-day priorities of the supervisor, including providing liaison with ministry executive offices.

Job Requirements:

- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of administrative/clerical/secretarial experience in an office setting.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience typing, formatting, proofreading and editing a variety of documents and materials using desktop tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Post-secondary education or training in a field related to business, office or public administration.
- Experience in records management practices, process and filing systems, including the set up and implementation of a records management system (e.g., ARCS and ORCS).
- Experience working with CLIFF.
- Experience working with eApprovals.
- Experience managing an electronic calendar (booking meetings and appointments).
- Experience managing financial transactions/activities (e.g. accounts payable, purchasing, petty cash reconciliation, etc.).
