We are currently looking for a Specialist, Corporate Development to lead its Corporate Development initiatives and support the execution of the Company’s growth and value creation strategy.

Reporting directly to the Director, Corporate Development, the Specialist, Corporate Development is a key member of the team responsible for supporting all aspects of acquisition, divestitures, strategic capital allocation, as well as organic growth strategies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive the evaluation of acquisition and investment opportunities;
- Build and own detailed financial models including projections, valuation, and investment return analyses;
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes;
- Proactively collaborate on and support cross-functional due diligence, negotiation, and closing processes;
- Synthesize and articulate key findings as appropriate for executive and board of directors audiences;
- Support the designing and drafting of presentations related to acquisitions and potential investments - to be presented to executives and the board of directors;
- Support the Company’s ongoing strategic long-range planning process
- Develop tools to evaluate the Company’s organizational effectiveness in key product and strategic areas;
- Develop company valuation and reporting tools and continuously monitor the industry for impactful value creating trends

**Qualifications**:

- 5 to 7 years of relevant transactions experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related degree;
- MBA, CBV, CPA and/or CFA designation would be an asset.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), French would be an asset.
- Demonstrated technical skills, financial modeling capabilities, analytical skills and understanding of finance / accounting
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- High comfort level in ambiguous situations; able to learn quickly and exercise judgment in situations where data may be elusive, but also seek assistance when required
- Thrives in an unstructured, fast-paced, and collaborative environment with the ability to prioritize and manage several projects at once
- Ability to operate with a flexible work schedule, given the transaction nature of the role
