Job Summary: The hybrid Accounting Assistant will provide a broad range of support to different groups including, but not limited to, sales, billing, and/or accounting functions. Ultimately, this role will help our Accounting & Finance department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Job Location: Hybrid in Oakville, ON

Main Responsibilities:
- Creates invoices in general ledger (GL) and verifies GL codes used.- Tracks receivable and/or payable activities.- Assists in preparation of financial packages.- Resolves and tracks financial queries regarding customer accounts.- Collects payments for revenue streams.- Participates in process improvement initiatives.- May be responsible for booking receivables and/or payables and maintain checklists.- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.- Processes day-to-day transactions and related reconciliations.- Assists with billing inquiries and related changes.- Processes stop payments.- Responsible for claims related processes that reside in accounting.
