**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Support the ongoing recruitment and selection of students in the optional co-op program.
- Verify qualifications of students who have applied to transfer to the co-op Stream.
- Qualify and transfer students, who meet eligibility requirements, to the co-op stream.
- Maintain the integrity of records and personal information of all students eligible for the co-op stream.
- Register students for work terms and for the Employment Pre-placement course on Banner/Academic Information system (AIS) as authorized by the Co-op Co-ordinator.
- Respond to inquiries associated with grade changes while respecting College security policies and guidelines.
- Perform other clerical duties, including reception coverage, filing of student records, photocopying and assisting with the preparation of resources. Assist with the promotion and coordination of special events.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Two-year diploma or equivalent in Office Administration or General Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant administrative experience required, with demonstrated experience in a customer-service driven environment (preferable in a post-secondary institution)
- Demonstrated knowledge of student information systems (i.e. Banner/AIS) and/or experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and/or Learning Management systems (LMS)
- Proven customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Possesses a high degree of professionalism, including diplomacy and tact
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and intercultural sensitivity working within a diverse environment
- Thrives in a high-volume client contact and deadline-oriented work environment
