The Receivables Management Office (RMO), of the Ministry of Finance develops and manages the overall strategy and business procedures in the collection of delinquent accounts for all tax and non-tax programs, and loan portfolios overseen by the Ministry.

The Ministry’s success in collecting outstanding debt reduces overdue receivables and provides funding for government programs. Key strategies include focusing resources on collection activities, continuing to improve revenue recovery and ensuring that industry best practices are followed.

**Job Requirements**:

- Secondary school diploma and 5 years’ related work experience.

Related experience must include the following:

- 5 years’ experience providing customer service in a public facing role.
- 2 years’ experience in a collections, enforcement, or financial role.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

- Experience performing financial transactions in an accounts receivable/payable role.
- Experience working in a collections call centre environment
- Experience working with difficult or highly contentious clients.
- Experience working with relevant provincial/federal legislation, regulations, or policies

**About this Position**:
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week as per the Telework Agreement.

The purpose of this position is to provide revenue management services to our client ministries including; payment processing, credit allocation, refunds and trust management. In addition, the role works to enforce the collection of delinquent small balance accounts (up to $3,000) to maximize revenue for the Province while adhering to accepted accounting methods, ministry policy, and provincial legislation and regulations._ _
