The Ministry of Health is responsible for maintaining an accessible, high quality, affordable system for health service delivery that meets the needs of the citizens of the Province of BC. The Audit and Investigations Branch provides effective oversight of PharmaCare, Medical Services Plan (MSP), including eligibility and ministry compliance.

The Branch Manager is the primary contact for the branch and must establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, FCS Executive, other ministries and central agencies, and the public. The Branch Manager indirectly supervises five members of the branch administrative team.

**Job Requirements**:

- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent and a minimum 2 years related experience.
- Experience leading others and/or supervising staff.

Related experience must include 2 years in each of the following:

- Experience proofreading and editing a variety of documents, such as briefing notes, fact sheets, speaking notes, reports and correspondence.
- Experience working with a variety of individuals at different levels.
- Experience setting up meetings including scheduling attendees, preparing the agenda, recording minutes/record of decisions.
- Experience working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment providing administrative support and expertise.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Three (3) years or more recent, related experience as above.
- Post secondary education or training in business administration or related field.

**About this Position**:
This is a temporary opportunity until December 1, 2023.
A permanent appointment may result from this temporary appointment.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week as per the Telework Agreement.
