The Attorney General is the legal advisor to the government of British Columbia and is charged with ensuring that the administration of public affairs is carried out in accordance with the law. The Ministry of Attorney General is structured to carry out this mandate under the direction of the Attorney General, and Legal Services Branch (LSB) supports the Ministry in fulfilling this mandate by serving as legal advisor to government in civil law matters. LSB provides legal advice to government and ensures that legal risks associated with government operations are reduced. LSB’s clients include all ministries of the government, Cabinet and certain public agencies.

The Office Manager provides support to the Business Operations Division management and staff and coordinates office administration functions, human resources, payroll, records management, facilities and assessment management.

**Job Requirements**:

- Secondary school graduation or equivalent supplemented by post secondary coursework/training in administrative office support or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff in an office environment.
- Experience leading others.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Experience working in an office environment providing support to Managers and/or Executive.
- Experience supporting financial activities (budget, contract administration, AP, purchasing, or equivalent).
- Experience with records management principles, projects or procedures.
- Experience coordinating facilities activities including office moves, equipment purchases and access requests.
