Western Integrated engineers, builds, installs and commissions electrical systems including machine control systems, PLC, HMI, safety, and networking solutions designed for a wide range of industries including Forestry, Mining, Manufacturing, Materials Handling, Machine Safeguarding. We partner with our clients to solve their most pressing challenges including: speed to market, product quality, optimized production, maximizing investment and uptime.

We are looking for an experienced **Technical Sales Specialist** to join our team of professionals

**What we will give you**:

**What you will be doing**:
Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and lead the sales team, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to align with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for the sales team, and regularly monitor and assess progress.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting accountability and high performance.
- Identify and address skill gaps through targeted training and support.

Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the forestry, mining, and water-wastewater sectors.
- Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and markets.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through regular client interactions and support.

Sales Strategy & Execution
- Drive the development and execution of sales strategies that capitalize on market opportunities and company strengths.
- Utilize CRM systems and Office 365 for effective team management and reporting.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular pipeline reports.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Business Development to align strategies and objectives.

Travel & Market Expansion
- Travel up to 25% of the time to meet clients and explore new business opportunities.

**What we need from you**:

- Engineering degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in the industrial electrical sector, with a strong understanding of VFD systems and machine control projects.
- Experience in the forestry, mining, and water-wastewater sectors is highly beneficial.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Office 365, and other sales management tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
