Client Accounting Administrator

We are seeking a **Client Accounting Administrator** **(18 Month Term)** to join our Coughlin team in **Winnipeg, MB.**
- The Client Accounting Administrator provides administrative services to the Single
- and Multi
- Employer Plans and does so in such a way as to enable the smooth operation and administration of the plans. This includes answering telephone inquiries and corresponding with the employers and members of various plans on such matters as coverage, admissions, terminations, beneficiaries, etc._
**The Client Accounting Administrator will**:
- Add, change, and delete coverage in the database.
- Prepare/verify/print reports, correspondence, and cards.
- Reconcile the balance sheet.
- Balance monthly premium and remittance reports, and reconcile monthly trust fund bank.
- Perform financial reconciliations as required by the manager.
- Handle accounts receivables and payables.
- Prepare bills/invoices for monies.
- Respond to clients, members, or other external contacts in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner at all times.
- Prepare correspondence using company standard templates for members, administrators and carriers.
- Explain coverage in place.
- Prepare and mail out forms, files, cards, invoices, or certificates as required by providers.
- Perform electronic data and document maintenance to include scanning, faxing, filing, destroying, photocopying, data entry and any processes required to prepare documents for these.
- Verify work and data in the scope of the position for accuracy and completion, including routine.
- Prioritize work to ensure effective time management.
**To be successful as a Client Accounting Administrator with Coughlin & Associates, you will need**:
- Practical knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping theories and practices and banking procedures.
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable, credits, debits, invoicing, EFTs, etc.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & Teams) and standard office administration procedures.
- The demonstrated ability to learn and master new software and technology (in-house database).
- Superior data entry skills and strong mathematical and reconciliation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to use tact and discretion to maintain information in the strictest of confidence.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and the ability to manage time effectively.
- To foster a culture of exceptional customer service.
- Experience using Sage 50 and/or QuickBooks is considered an asset.
