ProShop is a game-changing ERP/MES/QMS software product we call a Digital Manufacturing Ecosystem (DME) specifically for companies in the metalworking and aerospace industry, such as machine shops, fab shops, and other similar businesses. We build this software by combining and translating our diverse experience with deep industry-specific knowledge to optimize manufacturing processes for our clients. ProShop ERP is looking for an experienced Director of Product who can take our software to new heights and revolutionize how our clients run their business. As the Director of Product, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and executing our product roadmap, ensuring that our offerings align with market needs and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success, to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.

**Responsibilities**
- Product Vision and Strategy:
- Define and articulate the product vision and strategy, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify market trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer personas and use cases to inform product decisions.
- Product Roadmap and Execution:
- Develop and prioritize the product roadmap based on strategic objectives, customer feedback, and resource constraints.
- Drive the execution of the product roadmap, working closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative product features and enhancements.
- Monitor and track key product metrics, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing product team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to foster their professional growth and development.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent to strengthen the product team and achieve strategic objectives.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, implementation, and customer success, to ensure alignment and coordination across departments.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
- Build strong customer, partner, and stakeholder relationships, gathering feedback and incorporating it into our product roadmap.
- Product Evangelism:
- Represent ProShop and our product at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Create compelling product demos, presentations, and collateral to showcase ProShop’s value proposition and differentiation
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop compelling product messaging and support customer-facing activities.
**Requirements**:
- Must be located in the United States or Canada
- Bonus if you are in the British Columbia or Washington state area
- A Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s degree) in business administration, marketing, computer science, software development, or a related field is preferred
- Product Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Proven experience in product management (8+ years), with a track record in the SaaS industry and specifically for machining companies
- A solid understanding of product management tools and processes, including proficiency in agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, market research techniques, and data analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product plans
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing product management teams, with business cases and metrics as proof of results
- Familiarity with user experience research, processes, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
