**What We Are Looking For**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Product & Technology to oversee and advance the technology infrastructure that supports our comprehensive e-commerce platform. We are looking for an exceptional leader with a strong background in project management, information systems oversight, and product management. As a Director of Product & Technology, you'll use your extensive understanding of technology and product management principles to work directly with the C-level suite to drive the strategic direction of our platform. You will also be joining one of Canada's fastest-growing start-up companies

**Your Key Responsibilities**

- Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with company goals and market trends
- Setting objectives and KPIs for the department in alignment with company goals
- **Project Management**:

- Lead cross-functional teams in the successful execution of product development projects
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Utilise project management methodologies and tools to track progress and mitigate risks
- Overseeing projects throughout the life cycle to ensure impact and timely execution
- **Leadership and Team Management**:

- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the tech team, helping them grow both personally and professionally
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging creativity and accountability
- Design and manage hiring processes for new roles
- **Technology Oversight**:

- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of IT and information systems
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our e-commerce platform
- Improve client experience, internal efficiency and reliability
- Stay current in your knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices, advising on potential opportunities and risks
- **Stakeholder Communication**:

- Communicate product plans, progress, and challenges to key stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional teams
- Solicit feedback from internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve our products and services

**What You Bring**
- 6+ years of experience in product management and business operations, managing teams of 5+
- 2+ years leading eCommerce products and experiences
- Proficiency in product strategy and management, as well as project management
- An agile, hands-on leadership style for building a winning team culture
- A data-driven mindset: analyzing business questions, defining success metrics
- Ability to communicate business vision, strategy, and tactics to team members at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage daily operations of a complex business with digital and physical products, whilst simultaneously leading the planning and execution of innovative projects
