THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Production team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for achieving Aritzia’s objectives for quality products, timely delivery and competitive costing. As the Director, Production, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of Design’s vision, exemplifying the guiding principles of accurate allocation, informed negotiation, and flawless execution. THE ROLE

As the Director, Production, you will lead the team to:

- Optimize your supplier’s capabilities with the product strategy
- Develop high quality product that fulfills the design vision
- Secure and deliver on optimal production lead-times
- Effectively negotiate to maximize margins without compromising quality or lead-time
- Ensure the high quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery of all fabric, trims and finished goods once they are in production

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Director, Production has:

- Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in:

- Production, Global Sourcing, and/or Direct to Vendor
- Product component costing and negotiation skills
- A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's Values, Business and People Leadership principles
- The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
- The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
- A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value at all times
- A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $130,000 - $200,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
