**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
With guidance from Marketing team, create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies including content ideation and implementation schedules.-
- Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with various company department members on social media implementation best practices and strategies.- Create and curate website content including news, contact information, product changes etc.- Respond to reviews and messages on the website and social media, seeking appropriate responses from internal departments when needed.- Contribute to the Conceptualization and support the direction, execution and editing of high-level original video content for various uses (presentations, marketing campaigns, social media, web etc.).- Write content on behalf of the business teams for use in mass communications, bulletins, social media or internal use.- Support the formulation and execution of strategies to grow the company’s social media profile in alignment with Unica’s our vision. Platforms include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.- Work collaboratively with members of Marketing & Broker Services, other key internal stakeholders and third party providers to plan, support and execute company campaigns and events.- Manage marketing giveaways (SWAG) including inventory management and distribution.- Manage the administration of the La Capitale Foundation program.- Travel to company events where required to provide on-site logístical support when needed.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

- Detail-oriented and well organized.- Pro-active, inquisitive and a self-starter with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.- Able to perform well in a fast-paced operation.- Multi-task, with the ability to deal with deadline pressures.- Strong oral and written communication skills and superb interpersonal skills when interacting with internal Company staff and external customers.- An understanding of the insurance business is considered an asset.- Able to work well individually, under little supervision or as part of a team.- Knowledge of WordPress is preferred but not required.- Nice to have: Language skills for the Québec market (French/English).- University Degree/College Diploma in Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration or Communications.- CIP designation preferred or must be willing to take General Insurance Essentials (GIE), at a minimum, within first two years of employment.

Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Copy Writer, Communications Coordinator or similar roles.- 1-2 years of experience in social media management and content creation.- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - creative and formal.- Proficient in various social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.- Solid experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word (including proficiency with mail merge), Excel (including Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.- Solid experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro. Experience with Adobe After Effects and other creative suite products considered an asset.
