We are looking for a passionate, energetic, hands-on leader to run the day-to-day operation’s of Massimo’s Italian and collaborate with Massimo Capra to keep our food program evolving and exciting.

We are looking for General Manager with a true passion for food an unrelenting drive to provide an exceptional guest experience.

**Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities**:

- Ensure courteous and superior quality service is provided to all customers
- Create and drive a profitable, efficient and safe restaurant environment
- Motivate knowledgeable, helpful, and cheerful supervisory and non-supervisory staff
- Create annual and semi-annual restaurant business plans, strategies, and controls, including cost-benefit analysis of equipment, products/services, revenue maximization, management and supervisory skill assessment
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, evaluate and counsel management and team members
- Develop strategies and tactics to ensure improve guest satisfaction
- Complete inventory checks and departmental reports
- Be present on the dining room floor and assist room service, as required, to ensure that operations are effectively and efficiently carried out cooperating with other departments
- Manages in compliance with established company/resort policies and procedures as well as local, provincial and federal laws and regulations
- Enforce all health and safety/sanitation standards
- Other duties as assigned

**What you’ll need as the Restaurant General Manager**

**Experience**: 4+ Years’ experience as General Manager in a high volume restaurant setting

**Other Qualifications**:

- At least 1 year of restaurant management experience with a full service and structured dining establishment.
- Must have good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage several direct reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of back of the house operations including culinary, bar, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety.
- Knowledge of appropriate sanitation procedures and regulations.
- Strong understanding of cost and labour systems that lead to restaurant profitability.
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during peak business levels
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Strong work ethic.
