**What will I be doing?**
As a Prep Cook/Line Cook 3 with Corso Italian Restaurant you will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance to recipes and established standards including but not limited to basic sauces, sauté items, salads and other many items. The Line Cook will assist all other Team Members with basic preparation of food items while adhering to professional standards of temperature and food safety control. This Team Member will also adhere to the standards of the Executive Chef and use correct handling procedures for all food products. The Line Cook is required to maintain their work space, including counter tops, utensils, equipment in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with company policy and Health and Safety standards.

**Experience**
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Line Cook position for a fast paced/high volume restaurant
- Previous Prep Cook experience is an asset
**Skills**
- Food Handler's Certification is required
- Requires food knowledge pertaining to pantry/prep, and sauté
- Knowledgeable in safe handling practiced when using sharp knives, utensils and hot plates.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume restaurant
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well within a team
**Requirements**:
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction.
