**Position** **Summary**:
As Manager, Procurement you will manage the day to day procurement activities of a cell and gene therapy (CGT) manufacturing facility. Interacting with planning, project managers, department managers, Legal, client personnel, accounts payable and procurement specialist to ensure that the procurement activities are handled in an ethical manner to achieve the best pricing and schedule for the project. The person in this role will be a leading part of a high-performing team focused on supply chain and logistics projects adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The location of this position is at OmniaBio’s Hamilton, Ontario, facility. This position is site-based, with work hours adhering to support a facility that operations 24/7/365.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follows OmniaBio’s policies, standard operating procedures and GMP documentation, and adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP’s).
- Partner with Development, Operations, Legal, and other functional stakeholders—such as Marketing, Finance, HR, Product Supply, R&D—and suppliers to negotiate and complete agreements (e.g., T’s & C’s, MSA, NDA, etc) and statements of work (SOWs).
- Partner with Legal for guidance and approval during negotiations and before agreement signatures and coordinate the negotiation of alternative language and fallback positions with suppliers to provide maximum value for OmniaBio, its clients and suppliers.
- Complete required documentation—legal intake requests, contract coversheets, etc.—and maintain the contract management database, which contains all executed contracts as well as contracts under development but not yet active.
- Collaborate with all teams (QA, QC, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Accounts Payable, etc.) to ensure that vendors are performing in accordance with existing requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Identifies, develops and manages relationships with existing and potential suppliers to meet OmniaBio’s goals and delivery targets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensures the procurement team is utilizing the SAP enterprise resource planning system to support supply chain activities.
- Adopts the OmniaBio Operating Model and embraces a continuous improvement approach to all work activities.
- Provides supervision and drives standards within the work group to ensure client and compliance needs are met.
- Responsible for the performance management and development of the procurement team (3+ staff).
- Liaises with peers and management to ensure that adequately trained and competent employees are in place to execute the manufacturing plan.

Qualifications and Experience:

- 4-year university program plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- MBA/MS degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of working in a biologics manufacturing supply chain role.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to lift or carry up to 35 pounds.
