Shawnigan Lake, Canada Heavy Metal Marine Ltd. Full time

Heavy civil construction company is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as Reception/Office Administrator in Malahat, BC. This regular, full time position is scheduled Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm. There is room for career advancement as our company continues to grow.

Responsibilities of this role include:

- Reception, answer phone calls and general inquiries, communicate with customers, assist with billet sales orders, schedule couriers and deliveries, book appointments, order supplies
- Assist estimators with tender packages, track tenders, book hotels, compile site binders, request insurance and bond certificates
- Assist with safety program, complete safety paperwork, track and schedule recertification training,
- Miscellaneous office and administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

- Minimum one year office experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Able to multi-task, be flexible and organized
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines
- Motivated, proactive and a self-starter
- Skilled in preparing documents and reports
- Work as part of a team, and carry out the duties of the position with independence
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Located in Langford or Cowichan Valley, BC.
- Minimum one year construction experience
- Certificate in Office Administration, or equivalent an asset
- Safety designation an asset

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
