**The Opportunity**

RAD Torque Systems is seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Assistant. As an HR Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our people, HR functions initiatives.

You will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure a smooth operation of all HR functions and overall success of the organization.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour days, 40 hours per week. Flexible start times.

**The Role and Responsibilities**
- Assist with day-to-day recruitment of floor staff, including job posting, interview and various onboarding tasks.
- Assist with department records management including maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, both electronically and in hard copy.
- Assist with employee benefits enrollments and inquiries.
- Maintain benefits records and audit enrollments.
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing HR related inquiries, and providing support.
- Help organize company and engagement events and initiatives.
- Assist managers with attendance records and provide reports as necessary.
- Build HR reports as directed by the manager.
- Back-up payroll timesheet prep in Payworks in the absence of HR Manager.
- Annual reminders to managers to complete employee performance evaluations.
- Maintain records of completed reviews and follow up as necessary.
- Maintain health and safety communication board.
- Maintain records of first aid incidents.
- Maintain training records and coordinate health and safety training as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**The Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Previous HR experience will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
- CPHR Membership considered an asset.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems, such as applicant tracking systems and HRIS.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in the HR field.
