The role does offer flexible hours.

**Duties**:

- Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Assist with budgeting and financial tasks, such as accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliation.
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely payment collection.
- Utilize accounting software (such as Xero or QuickBooks) to track financial transactions and generate reports.
- Submit Government Remittances (HST, Payroll, Deductions, WSIB)
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment.
- Prepare T4 slips, records of employment
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures (Fiscal year end)

**Skills**:

- Proficient in bookkeeping principles and practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in budgeting, accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliation.
- 5 year knowledge of accounting software (such as QuickBooks) for financial tracking and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
