We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic human resources team, in the pivotal role of Human Resources Manager. This individual will be comfortable balancing the needs of the business, management and employees all without dropping the ball. As a key member of our team, you will work from our corporate office in Edmonton, Alberta, and will report to the Director, Labour Relations and Human Resources. You will be responsible for leading a strong team of Human Resources Professionals and working closely with other related functions in the company to plan and implement HR processes and programs in line with policies, and legislation.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide leadership and support to our team of Human Resources professionals who in turn support our lodge, construction and maintenance operations teams in all areas of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, attendance and disability management, progressive discipline, terminations, ethical or harassment concerns and investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Support effective organizational employee/labour relations activities by maintaining a strong focus on customer service, knowledge of collective agreements, employment terms and relevant employee/labour legislation.
- Ensure all new information regarding human resources is communicated effectively to all staff.
- Establish a positive and trustworthy relationship with managers, employees and external stakeholders.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, including full cycle recruiting, employee/labor relations with a unionized workforce, and providing leadership to other human resources professionals.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal & external to the organization.
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is mandatory.
- Experience with SharePoint, SuccessFactors, JDE and Kronos would be an asset.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, with a 5-year driving record satisfactory to Civeo’s driving criteria.
- Some travel is required.
