GKI is recruiting for an Executive Assistant. This position will report to CEO.
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the CEO to operate efficiently and strategically. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to anticipate the CEO’s needs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will act as a trusted advisor, gatekeeper, and facilitator, ensuring the CEO’s time and attention are focused on the highest-priority initiatives.
This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring occasional travel to key locations.
**Responsibilities**:
Executive Support:
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel while ensuring time is allocated for strategic priorities.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and briefing materials for meetings and events.
- Attend meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items to ensure timely execution.
Strategic Coordination:
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing the CEO with professionalism and discretion.
- Support the CEO in monitoring and tracking key business metrics, project updates, and company goals.
- Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align schedules and objectives.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and the Board of Directors, preparing board materials and coordinating communications.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage special projects on behalf of the CEO, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and provide regular updates to the CEO on progress and roadblocks.
- Assist in preparing for investor meetings, media engagements, and industry events.
Administrative Excellence:
- Organize travel itineraries, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and high-level communications.
- Ensure the CEO’s office operates smoothly by managing documents, contracts, and filing systems.
**Knowledge & Skill Requirements**
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft professional correspondence, presentations, and reports.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive business and personal matters.
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and proactively solve problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and project management software.
- Knowledge of the foodservice or QSR industry is an asset but not required.
**Education & Qualifications**
- A College or University degree is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience supporting executives or senior leadership in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced corporate setting is highly desirable.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
