The Cruise Services Assistant - Seasonal plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for passengers during debarkation and embarkation throughout the facility. Responsibilities encompass overseeing the cruise terminal operations including cruise processes, security screening, and ground transportation. This position is responsible for promptly communicating any arising concerns or issues in accordance with Ceres Security and Operations Plan, policies, and procedures.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES**:
**Strategic Planning 0%**

**Terminal Operations Execution 80%**
- Execute daily checklists to ensure operational requirements are fulfilled.
- Arrange passenger area equipment as specified in the Operations Plan.
- Assists with the smooth transition of passenger and vehicle flows from disembarkation to embarkation in different sections of the cruise terminal.
- Support with port pass issuance, limo dispatch system, and pre-board screening.
- Monitor terminal operation and address flow challenges as they arise.
- Organize and manage inventory equipment and signage storage areas.
- Monitor office supplies and report low inventory levels.
- Organize and file documents.
- Work independently and collaboratively within teams to accomplish tasks.
- Gather and organize operational data, generating reports to facilitate operational improvements.

- Report and rectify any damaged passenger area equipment.
- Foster a safe and welcoming environment for passengers and colleagues.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**:
**Knowledge**
- High school Diploma or a minimum of one (1) year of operations experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced working environment.

**Skills**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with team members and external groups.
- Superior organizational skills, time management and problem-resolution skills.
- Strong technical skills (MS Office suite) and ability to learn other related systems.

**Abilities**
- Work in an industrial unionized environment and to liaise with multiple types of partners and stakeholders.
- Work in a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and shifts that start as early as 6:30 am.
- Assist with operational activities.

**WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL / SENSORY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Position requires heavy to very heavy work, occasionally exerting 75-100 pounds of force and operating primarily in an outside environment often unprotected from elements.
- Expect to walk 20,000+ steps a day during the cruise season.
- Significant standing, stooping, climbing, grasping, reaching and visual acuity is required.
