Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Etobicoke, Canada Consolidated Packaging Group Full time

Due to continued growth, we are looking to fill the position of shipping/receiving clerk for our busy contract packaging business. This position will support the Logistics Manager with the day to day warehouse operations. This position will require occasional forklift operation, so a license is mandatory. Responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining the dock appointment schedule for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify incoming and outgoing quantities of items as per the BOL and ensuring accurate lot code recording where applicable.
- Manage incoming and outgoing inspection documentation of trailers and product to ensure Product Safety, Quality and Food Defense.
- Electronic inventory control and product movement using WMS system (Nulogy).
- Maintain FEFO usage of inventory.
- Ability to assist forklift operators in loading/unloading trucks as needed.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
- Familiar with various courier systems.
- Good English communication skills both written and oral as this position will have direct customer contact.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manage disposal process according to Food, Drug, Health Product Safety Principals and Customer Specifications.
- Prepare accurate shipping documents as required.
- Maintain a clean warehouse and dock area.
- Knowledge of Food Safety Management System.
- Knowledge of DEL, NNHP regulations.
- Experience in busy shipping/receiving environment and ability to coordinate appointment schedules.
- WHMIS training.
- Fork-Lift Safety Certificate.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations.
- Able to lift 30 Ibs.
- Experience using WMS systems.
- Experience in a food grade manufacturing environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
