**Import/Export Coordinator**

**Responsibilities**:

- Independently focus on supporting the RDC/LDC, SCOC’s & the Customer Centers in the region to meet the objectives in the specialized area of compliance and legal requirements for all import and exports
- This includes but is not limited to SOP’s focus on export and import entries, vetting of document libraries kept by service providers, carry out supplier performance reviews (e.g., SLA’s, VOC’s, SOP’s)
- Classifications, CAD PGA requirements (particularly EPA), and Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN), Health Canada (HC), Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), Global Affairs Canada, SIMA (Special Import Measures Act)
- Knowledge of applicable free trade agreements (CUSMA/USMCA, CETA, etc.)
- Understanding of the upcoming CARM changes, more specifically the CCP (CARM Client Portal)
- Working knowledge and ability to classify within the CAD customs tariff, and HS/HTS system classifications
- Supply Chain Security and Audit
- Liaison with North American carriers, forwarders, and brokers
- clearing instructions to respective brokers, aid in SOP adherence, document transfer, zero-dollar invoice requests, and other daily operations related to trade and compliance
- Create or monitor ACIGN tickets and correspondences in regards to importation and clearance of goods
- When applicable and requested by the region, support neighboring countries in terms of legal and related documentation
- If applicable, handling merchanting transactions (drop shipments)
- Bonded warehouse operation competence for when applicable
- Additional duties relevant for the function in the region/sub-region/country may occur

**Knowledge Skills and Abilities**:

- Strong Supply Chain orientation
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all functions for the good of Epiroc
- Business oriented and able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
- Openness to change and reactiveness
- Well organized and focused on continuous improvement
- Excellent planning and execution capabilities
- Passion and commitment towards the best interest of the company
- Must be able to work, communicate, and drive actions and results within your own and other functions
- Must be able to travel as needed

**Experience** and Education**:

- Canada Customs specialist certification, and Canada Export specialist certification preferred
- Minimum 5 Years of import/export experience
- Customs broker license preferred but not mandatory
- Strong supply chain background
- Understanding of domestic and international sales order throughput processes
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
- Additional Languages are preferred
- Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
