**Hiring Commercial Insurance Program Underwriter - Fast Growing and Exciting Team**

This position requires a customer-focused individual that is a driven self-starter, highly organized, pays attention to detail and MUST have a positive attitude.

**Job Description**:

- Commercial Underwriter for our in-house commercial program department
- Lines of business include; Commercial Property & Casualty, OAP 1, OAP 4
- Start to finish, one touch underwriting of files - underwriter to handle new business quoting, renewal quoting and endorsement processing
- Program includes multiple auto policy formats - IRCA, Fleet and Blanket rated policies; knowledge of Garage Auto an asset
- Ability to read and understand MVRs, Autoplus and CVOR documents
- Analysis and review of policy wordings and legal documents
- Proficient with Compu-Quote (or equivalent Auto Rater software)
- Prior experience with Policy Works and Power Broker an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with specific focus on Excel
- Embrace the digital progression of the business - we’re on our way, but going to take it a LOT further

About You:

- R.I.B.O license is an asset but not mandatory
- Ability to determine and assess risk potential

- College or University degree is preferred
