The Insurance Sales Associate I is integral to supporting and enhancing the agency's operations, primarily through the sales and service of Co-operators personal lines products, including auto and home insurance, while also offering basic support for additional product lines.

Key responsibilities include:
- Sales, service, and profitable growth of personal lines insurance products.
- Advising and recommending coverages and policies that align with client needs.
- Prospecting and cross-selling by identifying and suggesting additional products/services beneficial to the client.
- Conducting front-line risk assessments and selections in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
- Identifying risks that necessitate inspections and re-inspections.
- Achieving individual objectives related to client service, sales, quality, and productivity.
- Supporting initiatives to cultivate multi-client relationships.
- Addressing client inquiries and concerns, resolving complaints, and escalating issues as necessary.
You are dedicated to continuous improvement and fostering productive client relationships to surpass client expectations.
As an effective team player, you also provide guidance to assist in the development of your colleagues.

A General Insurance License is required or must be obtained within two (2) months.
Compliance with all provincial licensing requirements, including continuing education, is necessary to obtain and maintain all licenses.
Preferred qualifications include one (1) year of sales and service experience or related business experience.
Familiarity with auto and property insurance products and experience with sales techniques is advantageous.

This position involves direct interaction with clients and/or service providers in their environment.
Possession of a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance may be required.
