Are you an experienced Property Manager seeking an opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing boutique property management company? Yoke Group Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to join our team in Hamilton, ON. We specialize in managing both residential and commercial properties, and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to oversee day-to-day property operations and tenant relations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Residential and Commercial Property Management**:
Manage a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and meeting the highest standards.
Conduct property inspections, oversee repairs and maintenance, and coordinate renovations and improvements as needed.
Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
Oversee the marketing and advertising of available properties to attract potential tenants.
Conduct thorough tenant screenings and background checks to ensure qualified applicants.
Negotiate lease agreements and enforce lease terms and conditions.
Perform data entry tasks to update property databases and generate reports.
**Tenant Relations**:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure high satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including scheduling and overseeing contractors.
Implement customer relationship management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction.
**Trade and Vendor Coordination**:
Coordinate and supervise trades, vendors, and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and improvements on properties.
Obtain competitive quotes for necessary services and ensure quality work within specified timelines and budget constraints.
**New Tenant Onboarding**:
Facilitate the seamless onboarding of new tenants, including conducting move-in inspections and explaining lease terms and community rules.
Work with the leasing team to market available properties and attract quality tenants.
**Operational Efficiency**:
Implement efficient property management processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Utilize property management software for tracking and reporting property performance metrics.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property management, with a focus on both residential and commercial properties.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for commuting to properties as needed.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of property management software systems, such as Yardi Breeze.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with local landlord/tenant laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Google Docs & Sheets
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in property management is a plus.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
