The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

**About the Role**:
Responsible to track and monitor all packaging, expendable and returnable requirements, to and from the customers and suppliers. Packaging Coordinator monitors and controls overall packaging flow for all the customers, internal and external in a timely and efficient manner.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring packaging is sufficient in the min / max requirements by program
- Responsible for the weekly and monthly KOI reporting on expendable packaging built, shipped and amount recovered for expendable.
- Track incoming and outgoing Customer Packaging Returnable and Expendable.
- Track and monitor all packaging, expendable and returnable requirements to and from the customers and suppliers.
- Responsible for reduction in usage of Expendable packaging
- Conduct Regular fleet audits (shortages investigation) WIP & FG.
- Communicate daily with Customer Service Dept for any shortage or delay of returnable packaging arrival from Customer.
- Track and follow-up with packaging cost recovery.
- Complete and review, fleet calculator for WIP and FG’s at new model launch and quarterly for adequacy and accuracy.
- Conduct weekly meetings internally with Shipping and Customer Service to review/address any open tasks related to returnable or expendable packaging.
- Communicate daily for any Supplier or Customer related packaging challenges and follow up with appropriate department for resolution
- Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual audits of the required packaging by Programs in terms of quantity and accuracy to ensure customer program requirements are satisfied.
- Arrange damaged containers repairs with Suppliers & recover scrap cost
- Track and trace all damaged containers, to and from for repair and request replacements as required.
- Replacing non-repairable damaged container to maintain the requited fleet
- Ensure all Purchase orders & Repair costs are recorded in program database.
- Ensure all packaging the packaging material is either returned or disposition happens at EOP based on the terms of ownership of the packaging.
- Submit monthly expendable packaging claims to Customers using Customer's Portals or manual submission.
- Maintain supplier packaging database and PDS
- Contribute to the generation of ideas and improvements, and assist in their implementation.

Educational Requirements: College/University preferred
- Minimum Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.
- Courses Required: Understanding of Core Tools (eg. SPC, CAD,)
- Computer Skills: Good Computer (MS Office / Excel / Outlook) & presentation skills
- Additional Certificates/Diplomas: N/R
- Licenses/Permits Required: Must have a valid driver’s license & travel between Rollstamp & Suppliers.
- Physical Requirements: N/R
- Communication Skills: Good written, communication and interpersonal skills
- Additional Education/Experience:
- Good knowledge of automotive packaging
- Ability to work in team-based environment
- Strong mathematical aptitude, good organizational skills
- Positive attitude and strong negotiation skills.
