**Job Purpose**
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, The Supply Chain Analyst is accountable for their assigned business lines and the efficient management of inventory from the time of purchase, to the time of depletion. The Supply Chain Analyst will successfully manage assigned Principal’s inventory by consistently meeting KPI’s in a manner that provides customers with industry-leading service levels.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Working in collaboration with the applicable Principal Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst manages their assigned inventory and product lines and completely understands the rules, product attributes, Principal contacts, and major customers.
Plan and manage company inventory levels for a portfolio of products utilizing historical reporting, forecasts and good judgment to monitor and replenish accordingly.
Create, monitor and maintain PO’s in the ERP, including verifying accurate quantities, pricing, incoterms and
Ship/Arrival dates.
Review stock and transfer inventory to prevent stock outs and overstock issues between warehouses.
Successfully manages assigned inventory keeping inventory turns, service levels, and slow-moving stock within
set KPI’s.
Updates forecasts monthly and proactively reaches out to Sales Team on increasing/decreasing customer demand.
Act as an extension and trusted partner with the customer care team, logistics and finance teams, ensuring proactive and high-level communication standards
- especially on customer issues or queries.
Performs analysis as necessary to confirm stocking locations and minimum order quantities are still appropriate.
Ensures applicable Principal inventory process documentation are accurate.
Meet monthly with the applicable Principal Managers reviewing inventory changes, challenges and slow-moving inventory with a view to achieving a company target of 11 turns and a maximum of 60 Days in Stock.
Ensures MRP reports are updated/actioned, which includes moving demand to proper locations, updating lead times, and deleting irrelevant comments.
Proactively follows up on Days in Stock, slow stock and expired stock reports.
Resolves conflicts by assisting team, warehouses, Principals, sales, and internal departments.
Assists other members of the team, as needed, to achieve department goals.
Understands how job responsibilities affects other departments and how role affects the success of the company.
Proactively communicate and coordinate between Marketing, Sales and Customer Service during inventory shortages.
Monitor budgeted inventory levels using system tools to analyze inventory requirements.
Interact with multiple departments to ensure inventory accuracy and smooth procedural flow
Attends and participates in department meetings and joint customer service meetings.
Participates in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
Completes necessary support work, as assigned.

**Work Environment**
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

**Travel**
Some travel may be expected one to two times a year within Canada and/or the US.

**Preferred Education and Experience**
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
Direct experience in a Supply Chain Analyst role in a large distributor, manufacturer or retail environment
Experience working in an extremely fast-paced environment under tight deadline pressure
Demand Planning and Replenishment knowledge/experience
Knowledge and experience with both Domestic and Import logistics
Advanced/in-depth knowledge of Excel.
Experience using JD Edwards and other ERP Systems
Lean or Six Sigma experience.
Customer service experience.
APICS Certification.
