**Main Responsibilities**
- **Office Management**: Oversee daily operations, manage office supplies, equipment, and maintenance, and ensure a smooth office environment.
- **Scheduling and Coordination**: Arrange meetings, appointments, and manage calendars for team members and executives.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping**: Organize and maintain files, documents, and records, often in both digital and physical formats.
- **Vendor and Service Management**: Communicate with vendors, manage service contracts, and handle office-related purchases.
- **Recruitment Support**: Post job listings, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and assist in onboarding new employees.
- **Payroll and Attendance**: Track employee attendance, leaves, and support payroll processing.
- **Employee Relations**: Serve as a point of contact for employee queries, provide support on HR policies, and help resolve minor issues.
- **Benefits Administration**: Handle employee benefits enrollment, track eligibility, and assist with benefits-related queries.
- **Policy and Compliance**: Ensure office practices align with company policies and support HR in implementing new policies and ensuring legal compliance.
- **Event arrangement and team-building activities** to your office admin role enhances team morale and collaboration.
- **Other duties assigned by the supervisor/office manager**
**Qualifications for Office Admin with Event and Team-Building Duties**
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is often preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in office administration, event planning, or human resources support.
- Experience in coordinating and executing corporate events or team-building activities is a strong asset.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with vendors, employees, and management.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and event setup to ensure smooth execution.
- Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Problem-Solving: Adaptability and creativity in resolving issues that arise during event planning or execution.
