ABOUT THE ROLE

This will be an opportunity to contribute to, and learn from, a small but mighty marketing and communications team in an incredibly exciting industry. As such, we’re looking for someone who is able to take an assignment, ask any necessary questions, develop an approach, execute that approach, independently tackle any obstacles, and report back on schedule. We are an organization which prioritizes results, collaborative culture, and pride in one’s work. This is a contract role for a 4-12 month term (flexible).

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect include the following:

- Schedule and publish content across various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels and engage with our online community.
- Assist in compiling marketing reports and analyzing data.
- Conduct research on industry trends and consumer behavior.
- Edit videos and photos to create visually appealing content.
- Generate creative content for social media, blogs, and other channels.
- Support the Marketing and Communications (MarComm) team with administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the MarComm team on various projects and campaigns.

ABOUT YOU
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with an eye for design.
- Proficient in social media platforms including X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit. Familiarity with podcasts is a plus.
- Basic graphic design skills, preferably with experience in Canva.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.

Nice to Haves:

- Knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, the crypto and HPC industries.
- Goals and specific areas of interest in relation to this internship.
- An understanding of publicly traded companies and the regulations/limitations associated with them.
- Graphic design skills and training.
- An optimistic and hard-working approach to projects.

- Work and learning go hand-in-hand.
- Ability to summarize findings into concrete executable recommendations.
- Time and priority management.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-starter who can manage projects and follow-ups with demonstrated attention to detail

ABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is remote in the Eastern time zone with an expectation of two days the in our office in Toronto, Ontario a week (days to be coordinated with Marketing Manager). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
