About the role

The Mill Operator role efficiently operates the processing plant circuits for which you have received training and are competent. Additionally, you receive training in circuits for which you are not yet qualified, with the goal of achieving Operator 3 status at Evolution Mining Red Lake Operation.

T he position will be on a 7/7 (12 hour day) roster and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario with NO FIFO eligibility. We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure and future growth. Additionally, you will start up, operate and shutdown all equipment within your area of responsibility.

**Key result areas in this role include**:
Troubleshoot and correct problems within your area of responsibility

Partake in training upgrades if required

Conduct general clean-up throughout the circuit, reporting potential safety hazards and production problems to the Lead Hand/Supervisor

Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation, and commitment to satisfy our operation’s goal of being accident-free

Perform other duties as assigned by department lead

About you

As a Mill Operator, you will have a Secondary School Diploma. It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:

Good mechanical aptitude

Good decision making and problem solving capabilities

Remain focused during challenging situations and functions well under pressure
