The purpose of the Mill Operator role is to perform assigned duties to assist with the operation of the Processing Plant.
- Roster: 7 days on, 7 days off, 12 hour shifts

**Key result areas in this role include**:

- Safely start up, operate and shutdown all equipment within your area of responsibility.
- Troubleshoot and correct problems within your area of responsibility.
- Partake in training upgrades where required.
- Conduct general clean-up throughout the circuit, reporting potential safety hazards and production problems to the Lead Hand or designate.
- Contribute to a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to support our operation’s goal of being accident-free.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

About our operation

Our Red Lake Operation is located in an area where you will experience the best in Northern lifestyle, in the heart of a lake-studded, boreal forest region in Sunset Country. Red Lake is known for its natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and incredible Canadian fishing in the many freshwater lakes in the area. The Red Lake district is located 180 kilometers north of Dryden about 100 kilometers from the Manitoba border in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. It spans 42,000 hectares and has produced over 29 million ounces of gold since 1949. Our Red Lake Operation includes the Red Lake and Campbell underground mining and processing complexes, and Cochenour, a potential new source of ore. As Evolution’s newest asset and our first in North America, we are excited by the opportunities here.

About you

As a Mill Operator, you will have a Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.

**It is also important that you have / can demonstrate**:

- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
- A strong work ethic
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to accurately follow instructions
- Willingness and aptitude to develop and advance to higher Mill Operator levels
- Prior experience in a processing setting is considered an asset
- Mill Common Core is an asset, but training will be provided if necessary
