Seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on customer service for an exciting opportunity as an Accounting Clerk. This role is particularly well-suited for a recent graduate eager to kickstart their career in accounting within a thriving property management company. Bayshore Property Management Inc. (BPM), established in 1983, manages a diverse portfolio of over 5,000 units in South Central Ontario.

**Major Responsibilities**

Processing day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective and accurate manner.
- Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
- Maintain vendor information in system.
- Prepare all invoices that require payment each week and produce cheques for signing.
- Maintain historical records by scanning and filing documents.
- Other administrative tasks such as filing, mailing, etc.
- Contact vendors to reconcile accounts and to change payment methods.
- Record customer receipts & charges.
- Ad hoc analysis and special projects, as required.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
- Uphold the integrity of the organization by ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive data.

- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail.
- Capable of successfully following through on initiatives.
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibits a strong and professional telephone manner.
- Demonstrates the ability multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Displays excellent organizational skills.
- Exhibits a customer-service orientation in all interactions.
- Yardi experience is a bonus
